We, the students, staff, and community at Chesapeake Terrace Elementary School, have had as our motto, “Creating Limitless Possibilities.” Our belief in this motto and the “Challenge of Excellence” set by Baltimore County Public Schools have guided our attitudes and our actions as we plan and implement the best possible educational programs for all our students.
Our mission is to provide each and every student with a rigorous instructional program and an enduring learning environment which will ensure achievement as well as the development of the academic, social, personal, and life skills necessary for college and career readiness. We also recognize that as teachers, we have a responsibility to help instill in our students a sense of caring and concern for the environment and the desire and ability to become productive members of society.
The staff at Chesapeake Terrace Elementary School is committed to the organization and implementation of an academic program that addresses the abilities and learning styles of all students. We are dedicated to the highest level of instruction and achievement for each student and the equitable distribution of educational opportunities and resources for all students.
We realize that in order for students to achieve at high levels, we need parental support and involvement. We believe we must plan and encourage active partnership by parents and community members. Working together, we can create a positive educational environment, instill in our students and staff the desire to “bet he best we/they can be.” We provide our students with the knowledge and skills to be successful, competent, caring members of society as we equip 21stCentury learners with “Limitless Possibilities”.
We believe that all students will learn and be successful to their greatest potential.
